本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I don't understand why the DSC is so attractive to Chinese people, including so many so-callled cs masters according to previous posting. The vicious competition will make the working condition even worse for the Chinese workers there. Moreover, you can't improve yourself especially your English there. It will only make you more dependant on similar kind of jobs and make your choices in future even narrower. What if the economy goes down? How are you gonna survive with your poor English? It's the tomb of your self-confidence and starting point for a vicious cycle. I can understand why so many Vietnamese people work there. They re mostly refugees. With their background and capability, that's their best choice, a stable, easy, relatively well-paid job. They can work there for many many years. But how about us, the former managers, engineers with bachelor, master even PHD degrees. Physically you are someone with higher education, but mentally you re still refugees. Don't use your family, children, the U.S. or whatever as an excuse. Have you tried hard enough to improve your skills and English?

I m not here to trash anybody. I just wanna remind someone who has lost himself under the burden of live. Don't look down upon yourself. You are somebody if you'v got a degree. You have more potentiality than most other people. But that does not mean you can find a better job unless you change your refugee mental state. The most painful experience of life would be: ten years from now, you ask yourself everyday, I should have done this, I should have done that. What if I tried harder?

Rolia
