There're self-guided lines and guided-Tour line. Both are free this weekend. Recommended to line the guided tour line to get free tickets. You'll see a lot of more rooms and facilities then self-guided visit. Even listening to the two opera singers' singing was a enjoyable thing of the day.
When you visit the north lounge, with whole side wall windows, you will hear nothing from the street, no sound of street cars, people, even fire engines. Because it used high quality glass, three layers to block the sound. The Opera House building also employed sound barrier structure. so it's inside the heart of downtown, with street cars nearby, no sound will escape into the opera hall.
A visit to the newly opened Opera House is a great experience on a sunny Saturday.
